Hello! My name is Gayle. While I'd love to share the unabridged story of how I went from 27 years in corporate America to an authentic, credentialed Wellness Professional, for now I'll get the ball rolling with some highlights so you know just a bit more about me (and when we meet, I'll share great pics and more of the nitty-gritty of my story if you're interested!)
Starters. I'm 55 years old. I have 2 smart, inspiring kids in their 20s. I earned my BFA in Graphic Design from The Center for Creative Studies and I worked as a leader in the business world for 27 years... and then I decided to shake things up.
Oh, yeah. There's something else you should know. I was severely overweight for most of my adult life. My body ached. I was exhausted all the time. I was uncomfortable in my own skin (and clothing) and I hated... and I mean hated to exercise. I thought I knew how to lose weight but in reality, I had no clue.
In 2010, I hit rock bottom and decided to commit to my personal well-being and over the following 2 years, I lost more than 60+ pounds and finally understood what it felt like to feel and look my very best. It took hard work, commitment and consistency. I also learned it was more than acceptable to ask for help and surrounded myself with skilled people who I learned to trust.
Skip forward. I earned my first of many certifications in 2017 and for more than 7 years I have been helping people learn how to reach their personal health goals.
